In Buenos Aires, police have detained an 18-year-old and two minors after they snatched a chain from a pedestrian. The incident occurred this morning in the city center when one of the teenagers stole the necklace. The Urban Monitoring Center detected the crime in real-time. Police officers utilized surveillance cameras and launched a large-scale operation to apprehend the suspects. The first suspect was detained at the intersection of Diagonal Norte and Sarmiento. Another suspect attempted to flee through the subway station but was intercepted by officers receiving directions from the Monitoring Center. The third suspect was finally apprehended at the intersection of Alsina and Defensa. All three individuals were arrested, and the stolen pendant was recovered.
